Visiting for the Eclipse

I'm a gun owner from Michigan and I keep getting conflicting or misinformation, could you help me out please? My daughter (21) and I want to go to Ohio for the eclipse tomorrow. I have a michigan CPL but she does not yet. We wanted to know how to transport in the vehicle, and if it's constitutional, or does she have to open carry? Turns out Michigan isn't the only state with convoluted and confusing gun laws.

Ohio now has unlicensed carry for "qualifying adults" - anyone 21 or older that can legally possess a handgun and has nothing in their background that would prevent getting an Ohio license.
Unless your daughter has been convicted of violent misdemeanors or a felony, you have no restrictions on how to transport, and she can legally carry a concealed handgun if she wishes.

Probably a little late, but still, how was your trip? Did you have any problems with transportation?
