Something wrong with the site??

Post by M-Quigley »

If I try to post something or reply to something the sign in only lasts maybe 10 seconds. I have to type a few words at a time and preview it to keep from getting knocked off and having to sign in again. Does anybody know what might be wrong?

It seems like viewing posts is okay, it's just posting or replying must be done or previewed quickly or else you have to sign in again, and retype everything else in again.
I know there is an inactivity timeout but for some reason the timeout is really short tonight.

This time all I did after signing in was to read the replies in this thread, didn't post anything, and when I went back to the forums menu I was logged out and had to log in again. The only reason this reply took was because every several seconds I previewed it. I had to preview this reply 4 times to not get knocked off.

Well, I have found this site to be extremely helpful over the years. When I first came on here, I was a neophyte in the firearms area. The knowledge and wisdom shared here by so many is greatly appreciated. Have bought and sold on here with some really good people. The political side got a little old in these forums because not everyone shares the same opinion but the constructive conversations were really enlightening.
