Ran across this on Reddit. designer is sharing the info for anyone that can wield a soldering iron.
i have been working on a simple, cheap DIY target hit indicator that fits in an Altoids tin. ideal for days when you don't have a spotter. they attach to the back of a steel target with velcro, and, with a fresh 9V battery, can easily be seen through a scope at 1100m.
EDIT: i shared the OSHpark project. you should be able to order them directly from this link now, without having to upload the EAGLE files.
NOTE: i have not tested this version from OSHpark. i have ordered some, but they will not arrive for about 3 weeks. if you order some, please let me know when they arrive, and send a picture. i want to ensure the milling of the slots is done correctly.
i have 100% success from Aisler. i will see if i can share the project from Aisler, as well.
EDIT: here is the Aisler.net project for direct ordering.
it is about $50-55CAD for each, so , about $40USD. not including Altoids tin, stereo cable or 9V battery.
