No co-sponsors. This one applies the "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard to become effective and the burden of proof is on the petitioner. I guess if you think some kind of law is inevitable, you could view this as an attempt to minimize the damage.

To amend sections 2151.34, 2903.213, 2903.214, 2919.26, 2923.13, 2923.14, 3113.31, 3113.99, and 5122.10 and to enact sections 3113.26, 3113.261, 3113.27, 3113.28, 3113.29, and 3113.30 of the Revised Code to enact the Mental Health Awareness and Community Violence Protection Act.

I guess if you think some kind of law is inevitable, you could view this as an attempt to minimize the damage.

The primary way to avoid long term damage IMHO is the added provisio of a SUNSET CLAUSE.

In theory, I am not afraid of ANY new anti-2A law, if a SUNSET CLAUSE is added, with true defined criteria once the sunsetted evaluation commences.
