In appreciation of RickT

Post by bignflnut »

RickT has been posting a series of House Bills that have been put forward that relate to RKBA.

Just looking at the headlines, and scanning a few of the highlights, one can see that there is a virtual avalanche of bills being offered in the wake of the Parkland shooting. This new wave of anti-RKBA fever has given rise to a few select politicians actually listening to their constituents and offering what they're calling for. We may disagree with them, and theoretically, they are swimming against the current (as Ohio is a deep Red Republican legislature, on paper).

It is interesting, however, to note their non-fear of failure. They are simply unapologetic in their beliefs and are willing to put them to a vote. Color me jealous.

Certainly they have the larger media world and their party donors behind them, things Republican politicians suffer without.

Thanks to RickT for making the distinction very stark.

Thank you to RickT for attending the hearings and to everybody who writes, calls, emails, facebooks, smoke signals, telegraph, anything to get the message to their representatives.
