I recently moved here from Pa. About 2 months ago. I'm still without an Ohio ccw permit but I'm researching where I want to go for the course. I found the forum this morning and joined and also donated the 20$ to make it "official". I'm an avid shooter and a Glock fan. Looking forward to possibly making a few friends to shoot with in the area.

If you give us an idea where you are located we can likely help you find a good instructor. You might consider adding a general location to your profile as well - it helps with various types of posts you may make in the future.

Finally, you may not be aware but since Ohio does not have a reciprocity agreement in effect for PA, you need to be sure to get your Ohio license within 6 months of establishing residency. It looks like you are in progress of doing so, but don't let the calendar sneak up on you!

It comes and goes, if something bad happens or new laws get passed it gets busier, and especially in the summer folks don't spend as much time on here.

Welcome to the forum neighbor! I am new to OH also (5 weeks), I just moved to Akron temporarily while looking at houses in Medina and Stark counties. I am also a Glock fan and am saving up to get a new EDC. I haven't decided where to go for classes yet either but I did find The Marksman Range, 3017 Barber Rd, Norton Ohio 44203, which is pretty close. I haven't had a chance to go by there yet, trying to close on a house before the snow hits is time consuming, lol.
