10/22 won't go home...

Post by gaptrick »

Stock Ruger 10/22... doing a cleaning and this thing won't go into battery, w or w/o mag.

What's the quick answer?

Depends on what you mean by "won't go into battery" but my best guess would be that the ejector is out of position or the extractor cut is blocked.

There's SOMETHING whacky. Feels like a bugger on the bolt lock blade itself. After some manipulation it freed up and is now working normally. I think I need to knock it apart and see what the real deal is... Thanks.

My quick scrub turned into a break out the tools session.

Don't mention anything about this down time to the mice...
