Re: Mag Pouch for Shield ?
The guys at Kytex will do custom work. They did a trio of mag pouches for my 24/7 G2 even though they aren't normally on the 'menu'. In that case, I had to ship them a mag, but I doubt that'll be necessary for the shield. Mine didn't cost any more than the normal pouches, and they work quite well. (Lower profile than just about anything else I've found, and for quite a bit less.

Re: Mag Pouch for Shield ?
If you found someone that can custom do the holster part in kydex, why not buy a Fobus and cannibalize it for the paddle part?

Re: Mag Pouch for Shield ?
Carmen, Comp-Tac makes the following:
http://www.comp-tac.com/magazine-pouche ... ddle-10235" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.comp-tac.com/magazine-pouche ... ddle-10293" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
They're both "double" type pouches - meaning either a double mag set up or a mag and a light - I don't know what will happen - or even if you can, at all - dismount one of the two accessories.
Bullets-facing-front or bullets-facing-rear is determined by your stated "handedness."
It's Kydex, but it's really pretty plasticky.

Re: Mag Pouch for Shield ?
I've been looking for a leather pocket magazine pouch for my shield myself. I've found a couple places, but haven't ordered yet. The place I want to order from won't return my emails.

Re: Mag Pouch for Shield ?
^ From what I understand, like Carmen wrote above, most of the single or double pouches that are not specifically designed for the Shield don't fit it well because the Shield's magazine stack is somewhat unique. Some have described it as "almost a stack and a half," so that generic single-stacker pouches are too small/tight (unable to fit), and generic double-stacker pouches are too large/loose (offering no retention).djmac1964 wrote:Something like this?

My online searches also returned with the Fobus and Uncle Mike's results, but each time, I failed to be able to find the Shield listed in their respective fitment charts. That made me scratch my head until I read a couple of hobbyist blogs/reviews of the Shield, each lamenting the mag-pouch issue.

No problem. Hope you like it if/when you get it!carmen fovozzo wrote:Thanks Alan....looks good...

Re: Mag Pouch for Shield ?
I've switch to Kytex pouches, they are slim and secure. Lock tightly on the belt. I can't slip anymore inside the waist band with out going huge on pants.
