Any thoughts about planning our next state house day?

I don't think so but it's pretty much pointless until after the election. The Senate only has three sessions scheduled between now and election day and all of those are listed "as needed." Therefore by the time they talk about the bill in session many will have forgot anyone talked to them. I'm sure someone will plan one for November though.

When y'all have done these in the past, how did the day proceed? Who bought the doughnuts?

Ain't activism fun?

We were on our own for breakfast. I got up a little early and hit the Denny's at the West Jefferson exit. Our groups all took a lunch time break. There are restaurants across High Street which you can access via underground parking/pedestrian tunnel without going outside in harsh weather. As Chuck says there's also a cafeteria in the Statehouse basement. In any case OFCC didn't pick up the tab for chow or parking. That's how it goes in the grassroots activist game, we ain't lobbyists.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!
