OFCC is looking for a few people to help man the OFCC table at the Medina Gun Show, in Medina city, on Jan 18th & 19th, at the Medina Co Fairgrounds Community Center.

Hvactom will be the show leader and will be there both days, and could use a couple of people each day to help out! It would be nice to have at least one or two other people at the table at all times to help spread the word about OFCC, hand out info, and take donations. That would give us plenty of help to rotate out for restroom & food breaks, as well as time to check out the vendors. And, as most of you already know, working the show gets you free admission.

For those of you that have never worked a gun show, or other OFCC event, this is a great opportunity to meet & talk to like minded people, meet some of your fellow OFCC members, and help out an organization that has done a lot to improve our gun rights in Ohio.

I plan to be there on Sunday for sure, and possibly a few hours on Saturday also, depending on how work goes Friday night!

Unless something comes up I should be able to be there Saturday as usual.

Anyone hear from the OLD guy that help's us out. He must be busy with golf lesson's.

Just a few more days until before this show, and the Help-O-Meter is not exactly reading at peak levels!

I would love to see some new faces helping out at these shows. It is a great way to get involved, and you can actually have a good time doing it. You don't need to be able to recite the CHL laws to help, all you need is a general knowledge to be able to answer most questions. Our main purpose for being at the gun shows is to make people aware that OFCC exists. So please consider volunteering a few hours of your time, and checking out what goes on at these shows.

I'm going to try and stop by, as a mystery shopper, on Saturday. I'll ask lots of annoying questions to test your patience.

They send the annoying ones my way - I'm not sure if it is because I have the patience to handle them, or if it is because they figure I can out-annoy them...

Funny - down here, we alternate between Chuck and MWSY. They takes turns with those same tactics!

After a while you start to notice the repeat offenders for annoying questions or conversations. That's when I like to make tracks for the restroom, or other places away from the table.

We usually all get our share of folks that are out in left field somewhere, but there are a couple that I do try to avoid like the plague!
