Country music star Toby Keith has banned guns at his newest restaurant location.
Signs that say “no guns permitted” have been posted at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Woodbridge, Va.

Being country....I'd love to see how popular he is with leaving any and all references to guns out of his songs.

I always thought he was a war profiteer... last song of his I liked was "Should've been a cowboy"... see? even back then, he knew he was false...

What do you expect? One of his best friends is the uber-liberal Willy Nelson. Toby Keith is a democrat through and through. He has made his membership with the elites and can care less about anyone else.

But for Mr. Keith (or more likely his restaurant management org) to start such a policy in Virginia...let's just say that the Virginia Citizens Defense League, a group sort of like OFCC and/or BFA on steroids, will not overlook this sleight against the Second Amendment.

Restaurant is privately owned. Management's choice to ban firearms. People who choose to carry firearms are not recognized as a protected class.

TK didn't have anything to do w/ it, looks like he just lends his name in some type of licensing / franchising deal. W/ that said I think its stupid to prohibit firearms in any place.

TK allowed his name to be used on a franchise that bans firearms... I can't say I will boycott him, as I think his music went to crap after Boomtown... and THEN he went war-profiteer after 9-11... so I haven't bought his music, and I won't go to the TK's in Phoenix next time I visit out there... no muss, no fuss...

Of course, nobody is disputing that a private enterprise has the right to make their business decisions but there is nothing wrong with trying to convince the business to change their policy.

And questioning a policy when it goes against what the business supposedly stands for and supports. Country = Booze, Guns, Trucks, and Girls. Put all four of those in a song and you have an instant hit.
