Dinner with BobK and Friends 12-16-13 Columbus

Post by Chuck »

HomeTown Buffet
5805 Chantry Dr
Columbus, OH 43232

Monday December 16 2013
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm or longer

Our old friend BobK, the Jumping Frog, is coming to Columbus on business for a day or two.
Any chance this will lead to permanent employment in our area?
I intend on asking him.
I met Bob the first time, he was handing out flyers in front of the Columbus Dispatch, scolding them about their antigun positions
He was a good advocate and active gunowner and reloader, and was active in the HUG group, I hope you guys come!

This is NOT an official OFCC Holiday event, no gift exchange or any of that.
Just friends having dinner with their friend who is back in town....

I may have seen him, doubt that I met him. It's only been somewhat recently that I talk to strangers.

That was a good day. We had just finished testifying about restaurant carry across the street.

But I thought the first time I met you was when we went shooting guns together on the OSU campus?

Was that before or after that little protest
Seems like the protest came first. but I'll admit to not being sure
Maybe it was shooting on campus,,,,

For about the last quarter century, I have no free time during the month of December. Probably mentioned that each of the last three years every time someone tries to do a holiday meet & greet...

Always been under the impression that the rest of the "normal" world also has -far- more free time for fun stuff in January, when the holiday rush is over.

Sorry I'll miss you Bob, and I'll miss the nutty cast of looney tunes that gathers with you. :|
I like to swap brass... and I'm looking for .32 H&R Mag, .327 Fed Mag, .380 Auto and 10mm. If you have some and would like to swap for something else, send me a note!

Yep, I know you are in a tough business for this time of year. Sorry it doesn't work out. This was the best time for a business trip to our Columbus office.
