Need gunsmith in Cleveland area

Post by TRDFurgesson »

I have an A2 forged FSB needing install to a CHF AR-15 barrel. These are new parts and needs to be set properly drilled and reamed for taper pins. I'm have only found pistol-smiths so far (B&T Middleburg and SDM). Any help guys??

Try ProArmament in Cuyahoga Falls, they can probably recommend someone for you.

There is also Victory Arms in Berea. I used to have their contact info here, but I'm not sure where I put it. I actually found them the first time using the search function in my GPS.

ETA; Just found it on my GPS, I will send you a PM with the address & phone #.

I think Victory Arms closed about a year ago. I remember stopping by having just found them and they were having a going out of business sale.

I'd try the guy down at stonewall.

Don't think Stonewall has a smith there anymore. The last one left a while ago and i think they had a guy in/out for a while.
They re-modeled the shop/range, so i don't think there is a smith area either.

You could call Ohio Ordinance Works in Chardon, see what they can do for you.

Thanks guys!

Eric, this is for a mid-length gas AR i just put together. Spikes upper, Spikes lower, Spikes CHF elite 16" mid barrel, Bravo BCG/handle, RRA two stage NM trigger, and the same MOE furniture as my carbine length but in OD green. I gotta work in CMH tomorrow so this afternoon I found a guy down there to pin this FSB. Not sure if I'm gonna make it to IDPA on Friday so I shot SCSA IDPA tonight.

Cya bud
Thanks, Bobby

I haven't been there since they started the remodel. Crud, I really appreciated having a smith there. It was great having a good guy to ask questions and he never steered me wrong with any of his advice for parts or upgrades.

Necro thread ARISE!

I need a 1911 "drop-in" barrel fitted a bit. In the past I have enlisted the gunsmith skills of Rich at B&T Shooting Supplies in Middleburg Hts., but I hear he is no longer with B&T Shooting.

Any recommendations for a qualified 1911 barrel fitter in 216/330/440 area codes?

TIA.

I second this. I've had some 1911 work done there (as well as lever gun work).
