Helping a friend find a CHL class near Dayton. If you are holding one, or know of one, please post here.

Thanks

Find a gun store. Look for notices or ask the help. All the stores in my area advertise CHL classes. The ones with ranges even hold them.

I took my class at Gander Mountain near Huber Heights. Great instructor, very knowledgeable and made sure we understood the law as well as the guns. Last time I was there, they were still offering the class.

Jeff at Miami Armory (Dayton Mall area) holds some classes.
--Discount also if you have purchased a firearm there. Classes fill up super fast though.

Vandalia Range and Armory hold classes, and Miami Valley Shooting Grounds. I am sure there are a plethora of other great instructors in the area also.

I have heard nice things about VRA, I myself took the Basic Pistol course through Miami Armory(full day 12hr course), as its where I purchased my glock 30.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll pass them along. I think he might be interested in the Miami Armory class, since that'd only take one of his two days off.

I hold classes near Donnelsville, monthly. Friday night and Saturday morning. Also open scheduling if you have your own group of four or more.

I agree with the other poster about Miami Armory. Jeff is a class act and on top of being a NRA instructor he is also an OPOTA instructor and has been for many years. Jeff teaches the class along with a Detective from the Miamitownship PD Jason. Jason goes over the legal aspect of the class. And give a really nice question answer session. I was truly impressed! Great group of guys and a great shop.
