New Firearms Regulations Proposed in Leavenworth, Kansas

Post by TunnelRat »

The Leavenworth Times wrote:Leavenworth city commissioners want people to know they won't make a decision about a controversial portion of a proposed public offense code dealing with firearms until they've had a study session with public comment.

The section in question, said Police Chief Lee Doehring, adds language "to make it illegal to transport any firearm in the passenger compartment of an occupied motor vehicle unless the firearm is unloaded and encased in a container that completely encloses the firearm."
And we think we have problems...

Do you know why Kansas is so screwed up?...Look at their governor! Kathleen Sebelius...daughter of John J. Gilligan. She took her daddy's view of guns with her to Kansas...sad to say Kansas can't even elect a native of the state to govern itself.
