The forums have been hosted for some time now out of my pocket. We are coming up on the annual domain renewal for ohioccwforums.org and I pay roughly $20/month to keep the forums online. I do this to maintain the long-standing history of discussions here indexed in Google, and so that people have a place to discuss this topic outside of modern social media censorship. Her attacker died and Stacy Lim died twice on the operating table. She required 101 pints of blood, but she survived
I love reading stuff like this. Sounds to me like she made the decision, well before this encounter, that she would not loose. Its not a fancy tactic or trick. Its just simple straightforward attitude.

I just read about this in "On Combat." I was impressed then with her will to survive, and I still am.

It illustrates the mind is as important of a weapon as a firearm.

An old-timer who frequents my local range once told me "If I get killed in a gunfight, the coroner will have a hell of a hard time crawling through all the brass around my body."

Never go down without a fight is the mentality anybody should have.

Officer Lim, I salute you.
