Don't forget to submit your fantastic 2 day turnaround to ccwhen.com and help other Ohioans best choose which county to apply in!

Lake County has had this two day turn around time for quite a while. I've had my CC license for over a year and it only took two days back then, also.
The only strange thing about it is that CC licensing is handled in the same office as sexual predator registration.

I'm picturing an Ohio just five short years from now. A once "staggering" less than one percent or so of private businesses "posting CPZ" has virtually disappeared. With HB 347 (or similar law) in effect we have pre-emption and no plain sight, all of the hub-bub and brou-ha-ha has been put to rest by the track record of a group of licensees who are many more times well behaved and many times less likely to commit or even attempt violent crimes than the average citizen, like say the average Driver's Licensee. Look at Pennsylvania, Florida, Indiana, Texas, Michigan and others and you are looking at Ohio in just a little while longer. Those states went through it all similar to the way we are. After DECADES of indoctrination against CCW that started as "Jim Crow" laws or "Black codes" that were designed to disarm blacks against the tide of terror waged by the Ku Klux Klan, these states became progressive as it were...many being southern states, rejecting the notion that whites or any race was superior and by passing CCW reform.
