Blue Sky Restaurant Posted (Amherst)

Post by LukeBombs »

Went to lunch at Blue Sky Restaurant in Amherst today (Lorain County) - they've posted. Had to be in the last month or so, I was there a while back and didn't see the sign. I don't think this is a dupe, I checked the site and didn't see any other posts. (Note - this restaurant does not serve alcohol).

I typically boycott CPZ's, but I will most likely make this an exception (I really like this restaurant!). However, I would like to persuade the owner to reconsider if possible. Can anyone send that form letter even if they aren't OHCC members yet?

If you continue north on Rt. 58 to Rt. 6, (W.Erie Ave.), Pete's Restaurant is my regular chow stop. Great food - no GB sign, no alcohol served. They'll treat you like family. :D

I posted Bluesky in the DNPWA database about a month ago or so. maybe more. It sucks, as I really like their food, and as i order take out from them (being open 24hrs an all) I'm going to have to find somewhere else to go munch on some grindage. It sucks. They never used to be, so I wonder why they are now. I was going to throw up a thread or a question and ask if I could send the letter (not ofcc member myself. *note to self* Get membership), but i totally forgot. :oops:

they dont serve alcohol for consumption on the premises (that I could see in the menu anyway)

A search for "Blue Sky" and a visual check of all Amherst permits in the Liquor Control Board's database implies that they don't have any kind of permit.

I'll stop in and drop a NGNM card to the manager. I don't eat there, but drive by it all the time. If a couple other people do the same and politely talk to the manager, perhaps we can have it taken down.

I plan to drop off a card too, the next time I am over there. However, I'd like to send this letter:

http://www.ohioccw.org/images/stories/b ... letter.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Can anyone send this, or just official OFCC members?

necro-thread resurrection.

Just come back from BlueSky now. They are no longer posted on any of the doors. I'll submit a request to remove from the DNPWA list.
