I agree. Too many of the other options are limiting to the winners who may not have the proper equipment to use it.
Hopefully my choice (kind of an impulse purchase this morning before reading y'alls replies) will be universally liked: A brick of Federal .22lr ammo, 550 count. It occured to me that most gun folks own, or at least shoot with someone who owns, firearms in that caliber. 8)
Just used your handle as I didn't know if you wanted your full name put out there. Often, I don't know who is contributing until we get to the picnic.

Went shopping @ Black Wing and have a box full door prizes for the PitP, e.g. hats, drink holders, ammo, pocket knives, a first aid kit, coffee mug, etc. Donated on behalf of BK of Texas and Tweed Ring of Ohio.

Do the pocket knives and first aid kit go together as a package deal?

I went to Black Wing and bought a box of stuff, plus some ammo. The suits who run the picnic can chop up the contents of the box in any manner they deem appropriate. It's all a donation in the name of BK from Texas and me.

It's a good cause. The gun will be a Ruger LCR-22. And Kyle deserves big credit for this. I'm out of town this week and he's taking care of arranging all of this for me, sight unseen. I can't even give him a check until I get back. That's how you know you're associated with great people. Hope you guys have a good time Saturday.

Well maybe you inspired me to "up my game" a little here, Rhino. Gonna donate a second trinket to the proceedings, assuming Kyle has one in stock--Butler Creek UpLuLa handgun magazine loader. Until you use one of those you don't know what a great gadget you've been missing from your life!

My thumbs love me after I saw one, bought it, and use it. Now I can shoot more at the range before any extremities are tired/sore.
