If they're complete newbs, perhaps it'd be a good idea to go over some basic safety with them.
Primarily, finger off the trigger until sights on target.

My registration is literally in the mail. The mail man picked it up yesterday morning. Is that enough to have you hold a spot? I would guess you'll have the actual registration and check by tuesday....
