One quick thought:

State Senators offices are not huge. As such, we'll probably have to limit each team to five (5) people total, including the team leaders, to fit in the office. With 17 offers to help, we may well be near that limit, unless we want to break out a team 5.

Being someone that has only been to Columbus once as I've never had a need to go.. I would like to have an address for the parking garage, that would make it a lot easier to find. It's also nice to know that we can leave our guns in that garage. Any help would be great. Thanks

I view the choice as you can engage your elected officials to by pointing out what changes needs to be made and ask them to support adjusting the bill as necessary and then passing it.

Or you can simply whine the bill isn't perfect enough for you so will sit home until it is perfect.

NICS compliance is used by other states that people want reciprocity with. We just can't add many more states without it.

As to the whole federal law being incorporated into state law thing, we're working on that. Stay tuned.

If you are saying that adding a NICS check to obtain a license for the privilege of carrying concealed "utterly destroys" our free state, I have to disagree.
Texas and many other states use NICS for their licensing and still maintain their "free state" status,,,,

I've never participated in anything like this before. Is there any expected dress code? Should I wear a monkey suit or just business casual ok?

My question as well. My normal attire this time of year is a flannel shirt and black jeans.

I DON'T want to wear a suit that day,
So it'll be dark pants, OFCC shirt, and a jacket for me

Mr. Magoo and Morne, OTOH, look good in their suits, so I expect them to be shining,,,,

If you have an OFCC shirt, please wear it.

Since we're just chatting with the senators and/or staff business casual should do fine. When giving testimony before a committee I think a tie is nice, but not critical for this event. I'll still wear a tie and blazer, though.

If you could avoid flannel/camouflage that'd probably be best...

A thought, it might be a good idea to designate a "picture taker" on each team.

I think you'll agree that there is quite a bit if difference between "some concern" that "might entail" and "utterly destroys",,,,
