We've decided to not hold a shoot in Dec.

In Jan. we'll pick it back up however, we will be utilizing air-soft gun stages to create realistic force on force training scenarios.
We've done this a couple times in the past with pretty scarey results (lots of good guys died).

There may be a live fire stage @ Jan.'s meet. I'll update closer to the event.

The Concealed Carry Shoot for December (held on the 3rd/5th Thursday of the month) has been cancelled.
During the months of Jan. / Feb. we'll likely limit the live fire outdoor stages to 1 or maybe 2.

The main focus of the Concealed Carry Shoot during these months (Jan./Feb.) will be shifting to something a little different.
Force on Force Training:
If you've never experienced "Force on Force" training, it's a real eye opener.
It enables participants to react in a realistic manner to self defense situations without any bodily injury occurring.

"Force on Force" exercises utilize "airsoft" guns and other non-lethal/ training tools along with the appropriate safety equipment which enables us to create realistic scenario's that will test your judgment on whether or not to use deadly force in "real world" situations. The significance of this training is that; should anyone ever have to use deadly force to protect their family or themselves, they will have to answer a lot of questions and answer for their actions.
The bulk of these exercises will be done indoors.

I was planning to have knee surgery late Feb. but had a set back and will be going under the knife next week.

Sadly, this will put me out of commission for the Jan. CC Shoot scheduled for the 19th.
I know many were looking forward to it.

The plan for Force on Force is to go forward with it, but in Feb. / March instead of Jan. / Feb.
I don't expect there to be an issue with Feb's shoot. I should be healed up by then.
If you could please pass this on to anyone who you know attends but doesn't have email, I'd really appreciate it!

As a side note, if we've made plans regarding The SHC's Annual Dinner tickets, please contact me for other arrangements (regarding when/where to get them)

Reminder...no shoot tonight.

I just want to remind the regulars that we'll be resuming activities on Feb.16th.

There will be only 1 live fire stage.
The other stage will be a Force on Force scenario.

Had a nice shoot!
Weather was mild and we had no rain.

Force on Force opened some eyes...for sure!

I think we're going to postpone Part II of Force on Force for the month of March until the second shoot this month.
With The SHC's Annual Dinner being this coming weekend, there will be a lot of prep going on in the Clubhouse.

So, plan on (3) three live fire stages as per usual.
Weather is looking warm (70's) for Thursday!!

Side note, there is a Friends of the NRA dinner locally on the same evening as this shoot.
Turnout may be lower than normal. I suggest extra ammo in case we have additional time available to run the stages.

This Thursday's shoot will have 1-2 live fire stages and we'll finish up Part 2 of the Force on Force stage we started last month.

Ok, looks like we'll def. have 2 live fire stages in addition to FoF.

Weather doesn't look as warm as we've had, but should be pretty decent!

Next shoot is 4/19.
