The forums have been hosted for some time now out of my pocket. We are coming up on the annual domain renewal for ohioccwforums.org and I pay roughly $20/month to keep the forums online. I do this to maintain the long-standing history of discussions here indexed in Google, and so that people have a place to discuss this topic outside of modern social media censorship. If you enjoy the forums and you'd like to help offset the cost, please consider a venmo donation here

I would like to know who received the TONY GORDON MEMORIAL AWARD this year.I am Tony's mother and have not been able to attend the Party in the Park because of health problems. I would appreciate any information and pictures that anyone can send me.I would also like to know if there is any way I could purchase any of the new awards as they are not the same as the very first one that we received. I am very grateful that the O.F.C.C. still presents this award in honor of my beloved son. I can't believe it has been ten years since his young life was taken away from us. Sometimes it seems like only yesterday and I still miss him so very, very much! There still has not been anyone arrested for this brutal and senseless crime.I want to tell you all how much it means to my family and myself that this memorial award helps to keep his beautiful memory alive. Please accept my deepest gratitude.I hope that my family and I will be able to attend the next Party in the Park.I want to say Thank you in advance for any information you may be able to give me.Very truly yours.Phyllis Gordon.
We're very sorry to hear of your health problems and want to emphasize that you are always welcome at the Party In The Park and here on this forum.
This year's winner is Gary Witt, our legislative coordinator who has spent many hours in the last couple of years meeting with legislators and attending hearings in Columbus as well as working with the Legislative Drafting Service to draft new legislation or improve legislation proposed by others. We had several qualified candidates, but Gary came out on top.
Are you asking whether we can replace your trophy with the current style? I did not see the original award, so I cannot say if it is different or not. If that is the case, I think we can assist you in that regard. I will clear it with the Directors and get back to you in a private message.

He can't, but I can. Magic done and she should be able to PM him now.

Nope, still waiting on the two people in possession of the photos to get them to me. Next year I won't let this happen.
I think the FBI, DHS, CIA, NSA, EPA, NEA, LSMFT are all scanning the photos and that's why he can't get them yet.

Was talking to Tourist at the event, who was taking pictures. He said all of this was now digital. Was going to download all the photos to a laptop, owned by a suit, at the close of the event. Didn't happen?

He did, and he gave the DVD to Jeff <---And that there is the problem. LOL I've requested a copy from Neal but he's been extremely busy with work. Therefore next year I'm taking a stack of DVDs and having him burn one for me as well.

Tourist wrote:I'm working on it guys. Photoshop changed to Revel so there is a new slow upload procedure. Hang in there they will be up soon.
Seems to me that the effort which Tourist put into taking those images (including pics of everyone and their door prizes), would meet with more gratitude and less whining.

I'll be first to say that his efforts are appreciated.
Tourist even had a chance to discuss photography issues with my wife at the picnic. That got her to leave me alone for a while. Thanks, Tourist! (man, I'm gonna get SUCH a smack)
Knowing that the photos are on their way should ease the impatience.
