Haven't heard anything so far, so I would say yes, still a no go.

Goodman's has shows at Sharonville on March 10-11, and March. 31 - Apr 1, 2012.

Ohio Knife and Gun has shows the Summit County Fairgrounds near Akron on March 24-25, 2012.
They also have shows @ Berea on March 31 & April 1 and April 28 & 29, 2012.

Any takers for Show Leader/Show Helper for any of these dates?

Have to double check with the boss and look at my calender also, but I think I might be able to do the 3/31-4/1 show at Berea. 4/28-4/29 is a definite no go for me, turkey season, so I'll be in the woods that weekend!

I've got a table for July 14-15th @ Berea.

We'll start a thread in a week or two for helpers.

The powers that be have decided to lighten Jake's work load a bit, so I will now be coordinating the OFCC tables for the gun shows. If you know of an upcoming show, and would like to volunteer as a show leader, or helper, please post here, and I will try to get a table for that show. This is a great way for you to help out an organization that works hard for all of us!

There is not a lot to it, the show leader coordinates the volunteers he will be working with. The supplies are shipped to him, and he sets up the table at the show. After that you talk to the masses, hand out brochures, and answer questions. If you follow the forums, you probably have more knowledge to pass on than you realize, and will find you will be able to answer most questions you are asked. And if you can't answer a question, you have a great resource to direct them to. That's about as complicated as it gets!

If anyone has any questions about working the gun shows, please feel free to ask!
