I've taken time to ride by the BoE a few times. There are always "Vote no" folks outside the polls, but I've yet to see any "Vote YES" advocates.
Also, I've observed some van loads of voters being brought there. I would guess them to be "no" voters. Libs/Dems are much better at organizing stuff like that, in my opinion.
There are always untruthful reports about people being bussed in from out of state.
Garbage.
I know someone who is a Liberal Democrat and she hasn't driven out of state and bring them back here to get anyone. She usually doesn't even leave the town she's driving around in, she usually doesn't have to. There are plenty of people on her list that are (with a personal visit from her encouraging them to vote) who are willing to be driven to the polls, or need assistance with filling out an absentee ballot, and probably wouldn't be bothered to vote or show up on their own without someone
pressuring, cajoling, I mean encouraging and offering support for them to do so.
Now I will say that she has volunteered to help out if needed with elections in another state on occasion, but she doesn't vote in that state, nor does she bring any residents of Ohio to vote in that other state. This is all perfectly legal, at least in Ohio. It is allegedly NOT legal in Michigan.
Giving people free stuff, like food, etc.
just to get people to vote is not legal under federal law, but one certain group has found ways to do that and technically not be in violation of the law.
