The forums have been hosted for some time now out of my pocket. We are coming up on the annual domain renewal for ohioccwforums.org and I pay roughly $20/month to keep the forums online. I do this to maintain the long-standing history of discussions here indexed in Google, and so that people have a place to discuss this topic outside of modern social media censorship. If you enjoy the forums and you'd like to help offset the cost, please consider a venmo donation here
Want to talk about IDPA, IPSC, or other competition events you are involved in
or are interested in participating in? Want to know if anyone is going to a local gun show? Wondering when the next OFCC event is? All that and more is in this section!
Bianchi, have some configuration of magazines or multiple guns that will allow 40 shots in succession. 40 hits is a perfect score. It's good fun.
It's also good to be early because the line to register can sometimes be rather long.
You drive all the way north in CP to where the flagpoles are then turn right toward the parking lot. They have hot coffee and chili in the concession stand.
If you have six boxes of ammo, eighty bucks will get you six stages, or "relays". If you're going out there you might as well shoot!
Shot 6 relays today, and I had an absolute fun time. The whole event was run very well. Relays were short, sweet, and to the point. Commands were clear, concise, and to the point.
On my first relay, I was already nervous and excited. The heart was pounding, adrenaline was flowing, and it took FOREVER for the first target to show up. I was standing there, gun in low ready position, painfully aware of every heartbeat, every breath, every sound. But once that first target popped up: BOOM! Everything fell into place. I haven't that much fun shooting in a very, very long time.
First time at the pop-up shoot. Had a great time except for the weather. Found out that when my adrenaline is pumping that I can't shoot worth a sh%&t. 2nd round was a bit more relaxed. Looking forward to the next one where I hope to break into the 30's. Note to self; "have more mags available"
I was there and had a great time, after the rain delay.
I shot relay 1 and 3 on lane 1 had an awesome time.
I scored a 38 and 40
Can't wait for the Rifle shoot
