The forums have been hosted for some time now out of my pocket. We are coming up on the annual domain renewal for ohioccwforums.org and I pay roughly $20/month to keep the forums online. Do you have a link to any of those videos?

I have a Taurus PT145 which I had to send back for a slightly longer magazine catch because it would drop the magazine when fired. Nobody has conclusively established why that would happen, but it happened to quite a few people with that model, and polymer frame flex seemed to be the best explanation of all the ones I read.

Realize this isn't especially helpful but I've seen a few such videos on good old youtube. I was searching for something else shooting-related and stumbled across what you're looking for.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

^ Thanks. :)

I'm getting a 505 error on the above, so here's a direct YouTube link:

^ That's the G19.

^ Here's a G18. Looks kind like my dog's tongue on a hot day.

Werz, I wish I could help contribute to your understanding (or a solution for) your issue.

even metal flexes. Do you believe that your metal frame gun is not flexing during recoil? Polymer just does it more, depending on the polymer material used. Glass reinforced polymer (in the TP9-SA, Rugers, Sig 250/320i) is more rigid than that Nylon 6 used in Glocks.
'CAN' does not equal "SHOULD'.
