Went to the Pittsburgh Meeting a couple years ago, and I had a great time, not an event you want to have to rush through.
I booked early for Indy through Priceline, and got a terrific rate on a room in a bed and breakfast about 5 miles from the convention center for the wife and I. Booking early for these events is key. Fighting traffic in and out of the city every day is no fun, and the convention center hotels are usually a ridiculous price even with the Show rates.
More than one day is really needed for the exhibition hall, in addition to some of the events already mentioned I also reserved a spot for the instructors update on Saturday. Bring some cash, as some of the vendors have show specials, or you may just see something you want to grab on the spot.
There is an NRA App for your smartphone that has the vendors and hall layout. it can plot a course, so you make sure you hit the vendors you really want to see. you can do something similar on the website but I think the course mapping only works on the phone app.
we're driving out Thursday night, so we can get an early start on Friday.

The forums have been hosted for some time now out of my pocket. We are coming up on the annual domain renewal for ohioccwforums.org and I pay roughly $20/month to keep the forums online. I do this to maintain the long-standing history of discussions here indexed in Google, and so that people have a place to discuss this topic outside of modern social media censorship.
