For anyone wishing to work the table this weekend at the Westland Mall show - shoot me a PM. I will reply with my phone number (if you don't already have it) so we can meet to get you an exhibitor badge.

(Yes, we need stinkin' badges - that way, we don't pay at the door.)

Plus this will give me a count on how many badges I need to get during setup on Friday.

Alright - got home about an hour ago from setting up our OFCC table at the Westland Mall gun show. Weather was getting nasty, but should be fine tomorrow.

They have a lot of tables sold, and there were quite a few people coming in to set up. Looking like it might be a decent show!

Come on out and see us this weekend. Saturday 9-5, Sunday 9-4. Always happy to put names with faces!

Plus, we have a special appearance this weekend - Chuck has confirmed that he will be there! Great opportunity to meet this legend - and free of charge too!!!

(Did I just resort to trying to convince people to come out and meet Chuck? Yes I did!)

"Thanks" to all the Gun Show volunteers!

It's great that you gave your time to the cause when we all know there is a lot of other things you could be doing instead.

Still debating whether I should file harassment on him for making fun of my beard!

Not the most active show, but we still had some good conversations with patrons and vendors alike. I will give a better follow-up tomorrow when I can type it on my computer (vs. the iPad).

It seems we always meet some folks that have misconceptions about various firearm laws. We let them know the facts and where to verify the info for themselves.

We also got to meet some forum members, both existing and new. Thanks to all of you folks for stopping by the table, and a BIG thanks for those who took the plunge and joined OFCC or renewed your membership at the show. I think that's WAY more fun than just clicking a couple buttons online.

Met a couple more open carriers from the central Ohio area. That's always good to see!

I'm done with the gun shows until the new year, so...L8R!

Thanks to the Columbus crew for all of your help, it is very much appreciated!

We will be doing the show in Medina next weekend, and I plan to draw the name for the FnG ticket within the week after that. That way everyone will know who won, and those that didn't will still be able to take advantage of the early bird pricing, before Christmas, if they plan to attend.

The show crowds keep getting smaller and smaller and we STILL signed up new members.
I'm hoping that as we swing into Spring the crowds pick back up

If nothing else, we had fun,,,,

I'd think with Christmas so close, people are diverting time and money to some non-gun related efforts for other expenditures. I was able to get to my first show at Westland on Sunday. I didnt get a look at every table, but I saw enough for me. I was glad to pickup the list of pending legislation and will be contacting my reps on those accordingly.
Thanks for the time and effort you guys put in at the shows! And elsewhere regarding OUR second ammendment rights.

We were there every minute of both days,

All the way back and on the left
Big tall banner with a picture of the Statehouse at night and "Ohioans For Concealed Carry" on it
We had the "Americans for Prosperity" table on one side (giving away green tee shirts) and "Armageddon CCW" training on the other.

We keep trying to get a better location every show, but haven't had any luck yet

Still, the show isn't that big, if you make a point to walk by every table, you'd have to see us
Sorry we missed you,,,,

Yeah, somehow I missed you. :-(

I think by the time I got to the back, I was simply dismissing any table that didn't have a collection of guns to look at. At the very back, I saw the kydex holster makers and the right to work state petitioner. I'm having trouble recalling what I saw on the left. If you were a snake, you probably could have bit me.
