My usual course of action when going home is to stop in Lake Village, IN and unload and lock up the gun; after that it is just a dozen miles to home. I reverse the process on my return. As I have noted before, if I am transiting IL on my way to MO, I will unload and gas up in Terre Haute and only stop in IL to let the dogs leave a deposit at the rest areas; I don't spend any money until I get to STL and reload, etc.schmieg wrote:
