I use a 1x EOTech optic. Still a bit tough to get on that tiny 300M pop-up.
If I do go this time, I will also be shooting the Garand.

Wish I could be there! If you use the standard military zero, you should be golden! This is no different than the military qualification range, at least for the army! Definitely a good time!

Looks like I'll be heading up with the GEAR-15 prototype rifle with iron sights to stretch its legs a bit. Should be a fun day. Except the Camp Perry weather lol.

Sad to say I won't be up there this weekend.

Last time I was at the Pop up shoot, the guy beside me had his empty camber indicator melt inside his AR. So keep that in mind, everyone.

Change of plans on my end. I will be attending the Sunday pistol match in lieu of the Saturday rifle match. Hopefully the CMP store is open Sundays.

If I were you Dan, I would arrive no later than 0330. You'll be sure to be there when it starts if you arrive at that time :D

The rifle pop up's were interesting with iron site's  did not do as well as i thought i would. But i can blame that on i forgot my bag with the mag's and ammo left it by the kitchen door  so i'am an hour from home and the first relay is in 20 minute what do i do now  Well two nice guy's from chicago tell me they have 2 extra mag's i can use,.. and their is a walmart on rt 53 ,...so i head for walmart at slightly over the speed limit  and they only have 100 round's of 223 so i buy all they have 83 buck's all hunting ammo,so i head back at slightly over the speed limit  i get their and they just start the 4th relay,..i was signed up for 3,6,9, and 12 so i missed one relay and i only have a 100 round's. A nice guy from akron hand,s me 20 round's so at least i could shoot the remaining 3 relay's............next time i will do a check list before i leave the driveway hard lesson learned.

Sounds like it was at least memorable Steve!

I shot a 33 and a 34 at the pistol matches today using my EDC Glock 19. Had a great time!

It turned out to be a good day. Shot 37,36 and 34. I think the guy at 31 meters was sticking, had to shoot him twice and he still did not go down sometimes, I know I did not miss him. It was a great weekend at Camp Perry Pop-Ups. Can't wait till the Nov. Pop-Up's
