nuke the site?? no no..destroy the earth (and the BG at the same time! ) to make way for an intergalactic superhighway. That fact that it is going to happen by the Vogons anyway, is irrelevant.

Let’s see about this scenario – theoretically speaking

If you had no other choice but to go into a place with the criminal protection sign, and you had to pick up something really quick. While standing in line you notice that you have your gun on you, and you also notice that the store has a no guns sign on the door. After that a criminal comes in and holds up the place. Would you react and pull your gun, or would you stand there and try to avoid the situation?
"Militias, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves and include all men capable of bearing arms. To preserve liberty it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.

It's not my money. I don't carry to protect someone else's property, just the lives of myself and my family and friends. If it looks like it's going to go down ugly maybe I'd intervene but otherwise the store has insurance and most robbers just want to get out of the store quick.

The GB sign will have no bearing, Angie is an armed guard and is told that the priority is to get the BG out of the store as fast as possible, hold the door for him if you have to.

Now if he comes in shooting and I cant ensure that me and mine can get out, fights on.

I've gone through this situation in my head before. Since you're in seclusion, there really isn't much chance of anything coming by to distract the BG... So I figured what I would do is take my wallet out with my left hand (I'm right-handed but carry my wallet in my left pocket for this purpose...) and toss it high in the air to him. Hoping that the average BG won't keep his eyes trained on me and instead try to track the wallet in midair, I would draw my weapon and let loose. There's always the question of whether you should run for cover first or shoot first, so that's up for debate. But in close quarters, how far could you run before he got a shot off? Maybe drop to a knee?

Anything I'm missing here?
