I carry the new Springfield

Post by rifleman308 »

I carry the new Springfield XD 45 because it holds 14 of the big ones. I think it might be a deterrent to some scum bag trying something in my gun shop. Besides it came with the holster and an extra magazine.

CHL badges

Post by rifleman308 »

I had another instructor come over to have me print the certificates for him and he suggested that I sell them but due to the AG's note I refuse to sell them. I also think they are a bad deal to carry because they can get you in some trouble. When the Kettering PD came they did not even want to see my CHL. They have been told by my neighbor that I am OK. He is the retired PD. Good neighbors are like nothing else!

As involved in that area as you are, I'm surprised everybody doesn't just know about you anyways.

Are you former law enforcement? I thought that in order to be a LE instructor that one had to be previous (or current) LE...?

Yes, I do believe in open carry. An openly armed man is clear in his intentions. Concealed carriers are sneaks and skulkers and elitist, boot licking, political contribution making, running dog lackies of The Man. <wink> (thx grumpycoconut - OpenCarry.org)

rifleman -
I notice "Sugarcreek" and an "848" prefix. I'll be in Bellbrook end of May / first of June. Shoot me a PM with your shop's address, etc...

So many people asked where the shop was at I had to give up the location. The address of the shop is
15 South Main Street Bellbrook OH 45305.

I know exactly where you mean. Right behind what used to be the old ice cream shop, and across the street from the Peniwitt Hdwre building. Are you in the old archery shop, or one door north of it? (I will be stopping in. See ya' in 5-6 weeks.)

I am next to the taxidermy shop and the sign on the building next to me says archery. The sign out front of my shop says it all. Thanks for everything.

Rifleman - if you don't want to respond publically, how about privately?

Thanks!
