Mine is made like a drivers license but the words "issue date", "expiration date", and my signature are disappearing. You'd think for the money you'd get a good product.

You guys must be fondling that CHL to much! Like I said before, mine is exactly the same material as my drivers license. It is your particular County Sheriff that is at fault. Let them know, if it is their material or process at fault they should replace it free.

I keep mine behind my DL and it's starting to wear too. I tried using it as ID once to get into a club because I accidentally left my license at the shooting range. They said they couldn't accept it because they couldn't verify its authenticity in their book of state ID's. I had to go home and get my passport lol.

Ok this might sound funny but I incased mine in packing tape the clear thick stuff and its just dandy

As I mentioned earlier, mine's solidly laminated like my OL, and seems to be in no danger of destruction.

However, the wife had to renew her OL the other day, and the receipt includes a lamination charge....

$25 for the whole package. Sheesh....

($55 give or take for an automobile registration. I've got three cars, too....)

When I get to be Emperor, we'll only tax the rich. They won't notice.... :twisted:
