The forums have been hosted for some time now out of my pocket. We are coming up on the annual domain renewal for ohioccwforums.org and I pay roughly $20/month to keep the forums online. I do this to maintain the long-standing history of discussions here indexed in Google, and so that people have a place to discuss this topic outside of modern social media censorship. If you enjoy the forums and you'd like to help offset the cost, please consider a venmo donation here
This area is for discussions that do not fit into the formal firearms discussions of the website. Common sense and non-controversial contributions are expected. Certain topics are forbidden. See the forum rules for more details.

You're not supposed to go swimming with it...

Mine is made like a drivers license but the words "issue date", "expiration date", and my signature are disappearing. You'd think for the money you'd get a good product.

You guys must be fondling that CHL to much! Like I said before, mine is exactly the same material as my drivers license. It is your particular County Sheriff that is at fault. Let them know, if it is their material or process at fault they should replace it free.
Just my opinion.
I keep mine behind my DL and it's starting to wear too. I tried using it as ID once to get into a club because I accidentally left my license at the shooting range. They said they couldn't accept it because they couldn't verify its authenticity in their book of state ID's. I had to go home and get my passport lol.
