March 19-21 is Spring Great Outdoor Days at Cabelas in Dundee Michigan.
Friday is a grassroots workshop.
Saturday, Wayne LaPierre is the keynote speaker.
Sunday is state updates for Michigan and Ohio.

I'm looking for volunteers to work any or all of these days at a recruiting table doing what we normally do at gun shows.

If anyone is near the border or wants to take a road trip, please pm me and I can coordinate this with you in more detail.
Ooh! Pick me! I can sling poo from my house to Dundee :D (maybe 20 years ago) And we can oc in Applebees :D Loaded even :D

My Show Leader for the Niles Show (Scott) on 4-10-2010 still could really use a hand in the morning.

I'd like to thank everyone who has taken their valuable time to help inform people about OFCC at gun shows .
It's having a tremendous impact. We'd love to keep the momentum going.

For those who have asked me, "What should I wear when representing at a gun show?" let me break it down.

If you do not own an OFCC shirt, they are available at our Web Store. Even I had to buy my own.
If you cannot obtain an OFCC shirt, please try to wear a dark blue shirt.
Khaki or black pants are nice, but clean blue jeans will suffice.
*BTW...OFCC hats are also available thru the OFCC Web Store.

A well groomed appearance in mandatory. Please consider the over all impression you'll give based on your appearance.

If you changed the oil in your truck yesterday, please don't wear those same clothes that you worked in to the show.
I may get greasy at times and yes I actually do perspire. That is how it is at work.
There have been plenty of days I had to throw a ball cap on before answering my door at home too.
That is at my home. I'm representing me.

This may sound over the top to some to some, but if we look serious we'll be taken seriously.

At these shows we are representing an organization that deals with serious issues; often with professionals in various departments of government.
If you find you are unable to accept what I've asked, and still would like to help OFCC, I know we can find another way for you to do so.

Thanks!!

We'll be cranking up another leg of the OFCC gun show promotion tour very soon!

As summer winds down you'll find us at more of your local (and not so local) gun shows.

Here is a listing (as of today) of some of the shows we'd like to be at. If you find that you can be a Show Leader or Show Helper
for any of these dates, please contact me.
Thanks!!

Thank you Morne for the corrected link.

It would be nice to see something in the Columbus area  . I'd do a Dayton show if someone from Cbus want's go with me and nothing is done in cbus.

If you get a table at the Nles show I can work a day of it. I can't work Saturday open though, as I need a few things that I really want to get first thing there.

Would love to help out, but every weekend that has a show in Oct, Nov, & Dec, I already have plans on the calender. I only have one or two weekends open between now & Christmas, and those will probably be spent with the Grand kids. After the first of the year I will get in touch with you to see what the schedule is like! Sorry I can't help right now! :(
