Warren County SO

You are reading the writing of a brand new official card carrying CCW/CHL holder! I live in Warren County and went today to the Sherrif's office at my appointment time which was 12 noon. The lady who processed my application could not have been nicer or more professional. The best part is that she phoned me at 4pm to tell me the card was ready and I could pick it up any time at the Sherrif's office. That any time means 24/7. I now have it in hand! Warren County rocks! Great county to live in. Lea Ann

congrats,
There was some concern over warren county in that they only accept apps one day a week, but they do seem to process fast.

Wow - that's fast. When I applied for mine, in June of '04, it took the full 45 days. Glad to hear things are moving in the right direction.

Congrats!

Welcome to the club... :D !

Glad to hear licenses are being issued in such a timely manner. Mine took 22 days back in April right after the law went into effect.

Thanks for all the well wishes. As several of you have said, I hope I never have to use my firearm. However, I am much more secure with it on my side, as is Shawn (Rev). Great feeling to have my official card!

@Dan--it took me a bit of time to complete my class as up till April I was bucket deep in graduate studies. Couldn't get to class till end of May! Don't worry, the only way I'm coming to Oregon is if we have a CCW march on town to support you and irritate the goofy police officers!
