I applied for my CCW license at the Harrison Co. Sherriff's office on April 20th. The Deputy who took my application was very polite and respectful.
He called me on April 24th to pick up my license. Four day turnaround plus I live in Guernsey Co. Not Bad!
Well I thought the 4 days (2 were weekend) they did my license was fast.
I took my wife to drop off her application yesterday, they called her this afternoon and told her it's ready.
Hey Shadow, speaking of Einstein, (maybe it was Darwin) there is a guy floating around Harrison Co. First he went in the local gas station and saw a CPZ sign inside the store that the cops handed out. Einstein proceeds to start cussing out the owner, telling him he has a F______ gun and he's going to post his business on this sight etc. ect. The owner tells him to leave and Einstein tells him again he has a gun.
Then the same guy shows up at the local sporting goods store carrying. No sign there. but he starts showing off his gun with no regards to saftey. Muzzle sweeping customers, owner etc. He was asked to leave there as well.
When I get more info on this guy I'll post it.
The positive side of this story is that both business' have now posted signs welcoming Ohio CHL holders. I'll get them listed as safe alternitives.
P.S My wife really did get her license approved in one day. She dropped it off on the 5th and they called her on the 6th to say it was ready.
