I saw/talked to Jake at the Niles show this morning.

He was doing a good job spreading the OFCC word.

I'm still looking for folks who'd love to get involved with our organization, especially now with some of the current projects we're working on.

Working a gun show is a chance to reach the masses and explain what we at OFCC do.
You'll have an opportunity to speak to others who have many of the same passions as you pertaining to firearms and related issues.

We (OFCC) need your support to be able to help you.

Sheer numbers speak volumes.
By reaching out to others who are unaware of who we are and what we do, you can help make a difference on many levels.

Right now we're working hard on many things, particularly the Restaurant Carry Bill.
This is something that will definitely affect all of us.

If you are interested, I'm especially looking for motivated people who can be my "Show Leaders" in various parts of the state.
I'll set you up with the materials you'll need while at shows.
Ideally you'd be willing to work a whole day at the show. In the past, I've done two day shows, but it's not something I'd expect from you on a regular basis.

I'm also looking for "Show Helpers" who will be a support staff to the "Show Leaders".
You're role will be to assist with manning the table. You're day at the show would be as long as you're able to stay and help.

Working a show does have some perks. The obvious one is that you get into the show for free.
That means you can get first dibs on what the vendors are selling before the doors officially open at the start of the show.
The other perk is something I'd rather discuss with serious individuals only.

If you're are interested, please PM me and we can discuss it further.

Thanks!

I've got someone looking to work the Dalton show on 2/27 and perhaps 2/28.
Is anyone else available on Sat?

I was recently (today) contacted by an individual who may want to work a Dayton show.
If so, you two can be the OFCC Dayton Tag Team.

Thanks for stepping up Rodger!

There is a show at Berea on February 20 & 21, 2010.
Any volunteers looking to wet their whistle on becoming a Show Leader for this date?
If interested, PM me and I can help you through the particulars.

I have a couple possible helpers, but I'm in need of a Leader.
A little effort goes a long way!

Thanks!

Talked to quite a few people at the gun show in Ashtabula, even if they didn't walk away with a brochure/application for OFCC, most of them took me up on the No guns no money cards I was handing out for free. Either way they walked away with at least the web address for the organization. I will continue to do the same at each of the small gun shows we work out here..

Does OFCC have banners for advertising on other sites ? I run the website for our gun club and I wouldn't be opposed to putting an OFCC banner on our site if one were available.. I'm no graphic artist so you certainly don't want me to try and make one.. :) I was looking for a media section on the main ofcc website that might have Banners, logos, Printable Brochures, and a media guide for their proper approved usage.

There are shows coming up in March @ The Summit County Fairgrounds and in Berea.

Berea - March 20, 21st 2010
Summit - March 27, 28th 2010

Is there anyone willing to take on the Show Leader for either of these shows?
May be for one day or two.
