And I'll bet that the grip safety on the XD is partially responsible for those issues. I was critical of grip safeties in another recent thread and I maintain that position. I don't like them...just more moving parts, more complexity...more probability for failure.Brian D. wrote:Firearms training facilities I'm familiar with wouldn't agree that the XD is equal or superior to Glock. Ask their instructors and in-house gunsmiths what runs fine in classes versus what doesn't. Way more stoppages* and breakage per capita with the XDs, over a period of many years.

And for the XD/XDm, the design flaw that requires the grip safety to be depressed to cycle the slide also makes it a non-starter for me.513resident wrote:And I'll bet that the grip safety on the XD is partially responsible for those issues. Make it smaller or host the photo elsewhere and use the IMG tag

Re: How about some pics
If CZ released everything at once, I wouldn't have had to buy multiples...
Bought a S2.
Liked it so much I bought a second to replace a SP-01 AccuShadow, and planned to get it milled.
S2 Optic Ready came out, but was too heavy, so was about to send the S2 in to get cut, but the USPSA changed the weight limit.
The TS2 Blue was the only thing available in the US.
A month or 2 after I was waiting for a TS2 Orange (not even a thing), CZ imported the TS2 Green.
S2 Compact was what I wanted for a carry gun, and don't want the S2 Carry
Might buy a TS2 Orange this week, or a Springfield Kuna.
