My kids and I have had a blast with it. We live across the street from a park. I think if I was still hunting it would be great for tracking game.
You can literally put your hand on the table or door and see the heat signature difference for some time after. If I was a smarter man I would have staged some better pictures to show capability. There are some great YouTube videos on this unit that illustrates capability and possible usage.
