Cincinnati police shooting

Post by M-Quigley »

Theetge is the CPD chief
Theetge could not say where on their body the person was shot, nor did she know whether that person had aimed or fired at police before the CPD officer shot. Theetge said police did find a gun near the person who was shot.

CPD spokesperson Lt. Jonathan Cunningham said no officers were hurt in the shooting.

After Theetge's press conference, Fraternal Order of Police President Ken Kober said the man did point a gun at the officer.

"Understand that if you shoot or point a gun at police, the odds of you getting shot are very, very high," Kober said.

Yeah...and the father of the boy who got shot did a kamikaze run into a Hamilton County Special Deputy who was directing traffic at Burnet Woods and MLK. That's not coincidence...it's revenge...homicide.

I'm going to look up the father and son alleged miscreants on the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts website for prior criminal history. Bet I'll find some, anybody care to wager the other way?

RIP to the recently retired deputy, doing a traffic detail near UC's campus because of graduation.

Yep, I found some criminal history for the father, and HIS father as well. Grandson just turned 18 so he was new to the adult system, best I could tell.

Looks like an uncle about 14 years older than grandpa had some history too. One reason I guess that, is a three generation predilection for domestic violence.

Guess we will soon find out what kind of prosecutor Hamilton Co elected last November. I'm pretty sure I know how Joe Deters would have handled this.

The deputy's name was Larry Henderson. The HCSO released that info yesterday sometime, although I got a word of mouth report sooner. Didn't know him but we definitely knew some of the same folks.

Police group slams GoFundMe for Ohio father accused of killing deputy Larry Henderson
Rodney Hinton Jr. is accused of intentionally murdering Deputy Larry Henderson a day after Cincinnati police fatally shot his son during a stolen vehicle pursuit.
FROM FOX NEWS. Yeah, the family wants the public to help fund the guy's legal fees. What a world we live in.
