Forgot to notify Sheriff in Butler County regarding address change.

Yeah I know I screwed up. I moved about 6 months ago and completely forgot to notify the sheriff about my new address. The Address form asks for the date of move in. Do they investigate when you move in somewhere? What should I tell them? Thanks guys. I apologize.

I've never heard of anyone being investigated. I'm assuming this is an online form of some kind, that won't let you leave the date blank? If so, I'd set it to today's date and call it good.
