I do this to maintain the long-standing history of discussions here indexed in Google, and so that people have a place to discuss this topic outside of modern social media censorship. I don't think it's quite right to wish anybody a happy Veterans Day, but just acknowledge it and let our veterans here regard it as they see fit.

I wished a happy veterans day to my fellow vets. If you served, you know what we sacrificed, even though we came home in one piece.
