Here's one you don't see often. A working bear trap that's over 100 years old. As the title says it is a S.Newhouse of Oneida NY. No.5 trap with a patent date of Sept 22 1911. Pan is 4"dia, jaws 11" wide at pivot & a height of 5 1/2" from the pan (unset). Paperwork that was with the trap dates its last use to around the Great Depression. Chain, swivel & anchor are all in good shape. Anchor is 5" in dia & chain+ swivel about 9"in length. Asking $650 ORO. Willing to trade for silver @$26oz or for equal value in gun &/or related items. Prefer a FTF in Cuyahoga Co or near by. Shipping would be possible by it won't be cheap & at your cost. Picture leads to a gallery of more pictures [if they work] if not I can email them if needed. I do hope to be at the Akron show 9/23-24 with the trap if it hasn't sold before then
