Check out the picture. I have a hard time thinking the guy merely just forgot it was in there. Even if he doesn't get charged he loses the gun.
Even though a pistol brace was attached, there was also a stock in close proximity. IDK if the news and TSA got it wrong when they called it a "rifle" or whether it was a registered SBR. Having a stock in close proximity with an
AR pistol makes it a SBR according to ATF, even before the new ruling this year. The only question in ATF's mind then would be is it registered as an SBR or not.
