Summit county renewal

I had my license and it expired in 2018. Do to some family health issues and moving, I completely forgot about renewing. Do I need to resubmit my certificate of class completion or can I take my old license that I had and completed renewal paperwork?

You can renew any time after expiration with just the application and fee, no certificate required. Some counties will want your expired license, but technically that isn't required either - they know you had a license, so...

Summit County is known to be difficult at times, you may want to consider Wayne County instead.

My application and 2 renewals in Summit Co. have gone very smooth and fast.
