If Trump is removed from office, it is going to cause an explosion of political anger among conservatives like we have never seen before. On Wednesday, Franklin Graham warned that our nation could literally “begin to unravel” if that happened…
“Our country could begin to unravel if an elected president is thrown out of office because of lies and the media,” said Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, in an interview on Wednesday (Oct. 2) with Religion News Service. “It could be a devastating thing. We’re in very dangerous territory. I would encourage all the politicians to look very carefully at where we are and first of all make sure that truth is told.”
Sadly, I believe that Graham is 100 percent correct.

Of course if Trump is impeached but then he is not convicted by the Senate, we could see a similar explosion of anger on the left.

I don’t know if Democrats have thought this through completely, because it appears that this could end very badly no matter which way this impeachment process is resolved.
Vote R to protect us from the Rs who will start a War at home if he loses.
If Trump is removed from office, it is going to cause an explosion of political anger among conservatives like we have never seen before.
Says Who? Since When? We can't be bothered about tapping our phones, taxing ourselves into oblivion, miseducating the youth with RuPaul acolytes...to say nothing of Waco, Ruby Ridge, 9/11, Bundy Ranch or the rest.

With all of that on their plate, you know what conservatives do? Simultaneously and vigorously praise the standing armies on a federal, state and local level. Bow to the thin blue line. Pray that these folks get more power and greater legal standing over their own Rights. These people are the existential threat that motivate our vote?

Prove it. Conservatives are going to be angry and start a war? Ha.
Indeed, save us from the reasonable people who suffer moment after moment of tyranny foisted upon them while keeping their powder dry.

Trump is the Savior from those people? Miss me with that "logic".

How far away from voting FOR a dude can we get? What great WWE storyline will sway us in POTUS 2020? And so, if we get Trump 2020, the bar is simply that there isn't a hot civil war? #WinningKoolaide

Could our Champion resign like Nixon to avoid the impeachment?
The "Naybob of Negativity" originated with Nixon's VP...I'm just sayin.
A phrase used by Vice President Spiro Agnew to refer to the members of the media with whom he had a very acrimonious relationship.

Said Agnew while speaking to the California Republican state convention on September 11, 1970: “In the United States today, we have more than our share of the nattering nabobs of negativism. They have formed their own 4-H Club — the ‘hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history.'”

This morning, President Donald Trump mockingly invited Hillary Clinton to run for president again in 2020, remarking, “Only one condition. The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors including how & why she deleted 33,000 Emails AFTER getting ‘C’ Subpoena!”

I think that Crooked Hillary Clinton should enter the race to try and steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren. Only one condition. The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors including how & why she deleted 33,000 Emails AFTER getting “C” Subpoena!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 8, 2019

Clinton responded in a brief tweet this afternoon remarking, “Don’t tempt me. Do your job.”

Don’t tempt me. Do your job.

Clinton running again WOULD save TRUMP 2020! (and he knows it...Trump needs a big, bad, WWE villan to run against, because his record is so poor)

It's interesting to witness all the different angles to cajole people to vote against their own best interests.
The "lesser of two evils" excuse still resonates with many, but there are many other arguments being attempted.

Presence St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago has a “no guns” policy that goes well beyond what is required by Illinois law. Last week, security there ejected a uniformed, on-duty Chicago Police officer visiting a retired police officer patient during a break. Why? Because the uniformed cop wouldn’t surrender his sidearm.

What did the lone female security officer tell the cop to do if he surrendered his gun and then needed it while inside the hospital? “You will have to do like the rest of us, which is to run and hide.”

Run and hide? Sounds like a recipe for a lot of dead and wounded innocent victims.
Welcome to the Othering!

A marketing guru friend of mine once told me “Don’t think like a fisherman. Think like a fish”. George A. Akerlof and Nobel Laureate Robert J. Shiller wrote an entire book about exactly this called Phishing for Phools. In the chapter on the political process it is specifically observed that:

The winning electoral strategy with phishable voters is threefold:

Publicly, proclaim policies that will appeal to the typical voter on issues that are salient to her, and where she will be well informed.

But on other issues, where the typical voter is ill informed, but where potential campaign donors are well informed, take the stance that appeals to donors. Publicize this stance to would-be contributors, without broadcasting it widely to the general public.

Use the contributions from these “special-interest groups” for campaigning that increases popularity among the regular run of voters, who are more likely to vote for someone who “mows their lawn on TV.”

With such rational strategies for winning elections, we do not get the median voting theorem as describing political outcomes. Instead we have a political phishing equilibrium.

(emphasis added).

In other words, tell them what they want to hear. Put on a good show. Get them to pull the correct lever. Then you can safely forget about them. Keep the people who contributed to your campaign happy, and next time out you’ll have plenty of money to print up nice, professional looking “Re-elect me!” banners.
Tucker Carlson raked President Donald Trump over the coals Wednesday night — calling him a “salesman,” “compulsive self-promoter,” and “full-blown BS artist.”

All of this in a monologue defending the president.

The U.S. Naval Air Station Pensacola shooting caught many by surprise, given the location of the shooting.

How could three people at a military facility fall victim to a mass shooting?

According to an Associated Press report, the murderer — Saudi Arabian national Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani— was taken out by two Escambia County Sheriff deputies, not military personnel.

Andrew J. Sciascia highlighted that a policy order from the Navy Installations Command mandates that base and similar military installations be gun-free zones.

This is line with gun-free zone policies that have been established throughout America during the last few decades.

Strangely enough, the same people who defend American’s freedoms are stripped of their Second Amendment rights in these facilities.

The policy order specifically says “state issued ‘concealed weapons permits’ are not recognized on any Navy installation.”

For those who want to carry a firearm at U.S. Naval Air Station Pensacola, they must jump through numerous bureaucratic hoops to lawfully carry.

It isn't just the Navy. Things have changed since I was in the Army and almost everyone, officer and enlisted, had one or more personal firearms in his quarters.

FOX NEWS EXCLUSIVE: Dozens of U.S. Navy pilots have written a letter demanding Capitol Hill lawmakers and top military brass allow more pilots to carry arms on bases, and allow those standing watch at flight schools across the country to be armed in the wake of the deadly shooting at Naval Air Station Pensacola by a Saudi officer training there.

The letter, obtained exclusively by Fox News, is a form letter the pilots hope their colleagues will use to write lawmakers to get what they say is much-needed attention — preventing further shootings on U.S. military bases, in part by increasing deterrence.

“It is reprehensible that a military installation, much less its warfighters based there, be at the mercy of off-base, civilian law enforcement when faced with an immediate threat to their lives,” the letter says. The letter was sent to Fox News by two U.S. Navy instructor pilots from NAS Pensacola, in Florida, who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak with the press.
Cam Edwards recently covered the shooting on his Bearingarms.com show. At 12 minutes he inquires if Trump will change this policy. Of course the OP here is that Trump promised to eliminate this very event on "Day One".

Multiple comments on the thread were moderated into Bearingarms.com obliviion. An email to Mr. Edwards was not answered.

So, you're dumb enough to believe that Trump will do anything about this, regardless of his first two GOP laden years, according to Bearingarms.com and the gloriously bearded Cam Edwards.

Now the victims are begging for their Rights. Welcome to the Othering, brothers. It is reprehensible, indeed.

The Aldermen of the City of St. Louis didn’t think this one through. The city, one of the most violent in the nation, wanted to make their parks gun-free zones, but Missouri’s state preemption law effectively blocked it.

So the city dreamed up a cute work-around.
Guns now banned from St. Louis city parks

Missouri state law allows adults to carry guns in the open, so the new law reclassifies the parks and recreation facilities as child-care facilities, where guns are not allowed.
Maybe they were inspired by the St. Louis Zoo which designated itself an amusement park in order to ban gun there.

Congratulations, St. Louis. Running a collection of new “child care facilities” around the city comes with its own requirements. You now have to comply with a slew of state laws.
Color us all shocked. Once a new term or zero tolerance idea is established, the definition of the thing begins to expand. How many times does this happen? Reclassify to enforce tyranny.

You gotta hand it to the antis, they're attempting to get their agenda passed when they have the offices/votes to do it.
Trump, with two years of a GOP Congress and people offering legislation to eliminate gun free zero tolerance tyranny enforcement areas exempt from constitutional Rights, did nothing.

Our prayers are with the families of the victims and the congregation,” he continued. “We’re grateful that the shooting was over in six seconds. And do you know why? Because we had someone who had a gun going in the other direction.”

At that, the president had to pause his remarks to wait for the applause of the crowd to die down.

“You had 242 people, worshippers, they were praying, and this maniac walked in and started shooting. But you had a man who had a gun, who knew how to use it, and in a very short period of time that was the end.

But two people died. But you had 242 people that would have perhaps all been dead, every one of them. And then these people talk about guns and gun safety and gun rights and honestly they don’t really know what they’re talking about. But many lives were saved by these heroes and Texas laws allowing them to exercise their Second Amendment right to bear arms.”

Another roar from the crowd interrupted the president, but what he said next brought down the house.

“And your Second Amendment is under siege, but I guess this is why they don’t love me, look there are so many reasons, this is one of many. But as long as I’m here, and I’m going to be here for a long time, your Second Amendment is protected.

During his January 28, 2020, rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, President Donald Trump referenced the Democrat gun control push in Virginia and made clear that gun confiscation is not happening on his watch.

Trump said, “We will always protect … the right to keep and bear arms, which is under siege.

The crowd broke out in chants of “USA, USA, USA.”

Trump noted, “In Virginia, they want to take your guns away — it’s just the beginning.” He paused as the crowd booed, then added, “Never going to happen as long as I’m President of the United States, that I can tell you.”

Wyoming thinking about ending GFZs

In Wyoming, Second Amendment supporters have been working to repeal “gun free zones” for years. Bill SF0088 in Wyoming would eliminate most “gun free zones” in the state in 2020. Here are the relevant portions of the bill:

(b) Persons lawfully carrying concealed weapons in Wyoming under W.S. 6‑8‑104(a)(ii) through (iv) may carry a concealed weapon in the following places:

(i) Any meeting of a governmental entity;

(ii) Any meeting of the legislature or a committee thereof.

(c) Persons lawfully carrying concealed weapons in Wyoming under W.S. 6‑8‑104(a)(ii) or (iii) may carry a concealed weapon in the following places:

(i) Any public school, public college or university or professional athletic event, except as provided in W.S. 21‑3‑132;

(ii) Any public elementary or secondary school facility, except as provided in W.S. 21‑3‑132;

(iii) Any public college or university facility.

W.S. 21-3-132 generally prohibits the carry of firearms in K-12 schools, unless the school board allows the practice.
