The Dayton area news stations just can't cover the anti-gun crowd enough. All they are now covering are the protesters. And this sick shooter has been a golden child for the Democrats and the anti-gun people. The Republicans and Trump are started to cave in and more bills are being introduced. The Democrats couldn't ask for a better poster boy for their anti-gun crusade .

The ANTIFA Dayton shooter also supported Elizabeth Warren. The leftists are blaming the El Paso shooting on Trump.

Using the leftist logic then we can blame the murders in Dayton on Warren.

Americans came out of the woodwork in droves to vote for Donald Trump on a platform of building a wall, deporting illegal immigrants, ending stupid wars, reforming trade deals, being tough on crime and protecting gun rights.

We instead got record illegal immigration, significantly less deportations than Obama, massive tax cuts for Big Tech and Corporate America, the continuation of nearly all our previous wars and threats of new wars with Iran and Venezuela, Koch-Kushner criminal justice reform, a unilateral bump stock ban and now "red flag" gun seizure laws which blatantly violate the First, Second and Fifth Amendments.

I can't see any reason to support the GOP in 2020 at all at this point. We should be demanding they earn our vote just like all the other groups they're pandering to.

BUT we GOTTA! Cuz RedStates! It's THE most important election in the History of the Universe!
Thanks Republican Cheerleaders!

Unpleasant as this may be to recognize, the ballot box is not a currently viable solution.

Unconstitutional and Tyrannical Red Flag Gun Confiscation Laws Are Coming FAST

So what is the problem with Red Flag laws?

For those that may not be aware, “Red Flag” Laws are allegedly devised to disarm individuals who may be at high risk to commit violent acts before they are able to do so. These “red flags” can be thrown up by law enforcement, mental, and medical professionals regarding a person’s mental state and/or capacity to do harm. In some cases, family members and others can also trigger the gun confiscation order. A number of states in the US already have such laws, Maryland being the most memorable example.

If it sounds to you like Red Flag laws are actually the imposition of “pre-crime” policies, you’re right. If they sound unconstitutional to you, you’re also right. Red Flag laws violate at least three Amendments to the US Constitution – the First, Second, and Fourth ammendment.

Weaponization of mental health and psychiatry. This is precisely the methods used by the Soviet Union when critics of the government were deemed mentally ill and forced into “treatment” where they remained or where “re-educated/medicated” into conformity.

Forward Soviet
From the outset, the APA is biased against guns. Read the statement that the CEO of the APA issued. In particular he stated:
“Blaming mental illness for the gun violence in our country is simplistic and inaccurate and goes against the scientific evidence currently available.

“The United States is a global outlier when it comes to horrific headlines like the ones that consumed us all weekend. Although the United States makes up less than 5% of the world’s population, we are home to 31% of all mass shooters globally, according to a CNN analysis. This difference is not explained by the rate of mental illness in the U.S.

“The one stark difference? Access to guns.

“Americans own nearly half of the estimated 650 million civilian-owned guns in the world. Access to this final, fatal tool means more deaths that occur more quickly, whether in a mass shooting or in someone’s own home.
What this means is if a person (even though they may be sane and innocent) faces a psychologist for an evaluation as a result of an ERPO, the Evaluator already has a built in bias against guns. The gun owner is up against a person who feels that even owning a gun is an indicator of mental deficiency. So more often than not, a person involuntarily submitting to a mental health evaluation is going to get a negative recommendation because of the ingrained bias against guns.

There are thousands of ex-wives and girlfriends sharpening their claws in anticipation of red flag laws getting passed. The mental health community is loving this as well. It means more business for them and they are probably figuring out what new model luxury car to get as well as where they are going to spend their next vacation courtesy of our tax dollars.

DAYTON — Federal authorities have arrested a man who acknowledged purchasing body armor, AR-15 parts and a 100-round double drum magazine for the Dayton shooter.
Kollie told federal authorities he purchased the items for shooter Connor Betts, then hid them in his apartment to assist Betts in hiding them from his parents, the complaint says.

Kollie said that, about 10 weeks ago, he helped Betts assemble the weapon used in the Oregon district shooting, the complaint says. The drum magazine arrived about six to eight weeks ago.
The complaint says Kollie was interviewed at his house by the FBI and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in the shooting’s aftermath.

“While inside, the agents smelled marijuana and observed, in plain sight, paraphernalia consistent with smoking marijuana, including what appeared to be a ‘bong,’” the agent said in the complaint. Agents also observed a pistol, the complaint says.

Agents went to Kollie’s work Thursday, where he told the agents he and Betts had done “hard drugs,” marijuana and acid together several times a week in 2014 and 2015, the complaint says.

Kollie also told the agents he still used marijuana. The agent’s complaint said that Kollie had checked “no” on the ATF form that must be completed to purchase a firearm from a local dealer.

“Kollie stated that he answered ‘no’ to the question regarding drug use,” the complaint says. “When asked why he lied, Kollie stated he knew that if he told the truth about his drug use, he would not be allowed to purchase a firearm, so he lied and answered ‘no.”
So much for the lie from the anti gunners that universal background checks or background checks for body armor is a solution to gun crime.

Notice how the MSM dropped Elijah Cummings, the Squad, the awful Democrat debates?

This is starting to go by the wayside for Epstein. Was he murdered? How do you commit suicide with paper sheets?

Trump says what he does mostly to get past a news narrative. He has to say something. But many of the things proposed need to go through congress. A person I follow on Twitter said essentially Congress is in such a mess they couldn't pass a fart.

From what I read, when he had a meeting about red flag laws, etc, the NRA was at the table. Now they have their own mess, so maybe it is no help. But if he was really out to screw us over, I don't think the NRA would have been there.

Watch what he does, not what he says. (I know, I know, the bump stock thing--but someone who wants to rapid fire doesn't need the device.)

I am hopeful (guardedly) that something will shake up the swamp, and that the ammo box is not needed. But we do need to be watchful, because it may eventually be the only viable option.

As to charging the buddy for lying on a form. That is what they need to do.

With the shooter in this situation: from reviewing the statements of a lot of his friends...I have a feeling what is not being reported here is the likelihood that this avowed anti-gun man decided to commit a mass shooting after someone else did to instigate a New Zealand style firestorm to pass gun control laws.
God,
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

and the Wisdom to know the difference.

Carrying a gun is a right, not a crime.

Gun control is racist.

I'm surprised they didn't slap the friend with a conspiracy charge.

7 Reasons to Oppose Red Flag Guns Laws

https://fee.org/articles/7-reasons-to-o ... guns-laws/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Associated Press reports Congress is seriously considering red flag gun laws.

These laws, also called “extreme risk protection orders,” allow courts to issue orders allowing law enforcement to seize firearms from people who’ve committed no crime but are believed to be a danger to themselves or others.

President Trump has signaled his backing of bipartisan Senate legislation sponsored by Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn.

"We must make sure that those judged to pose a grave risk to public safety do not have access to firearms and that if they do those firearms can be taken through rapid due process," Trump said in a White House speech.

Red flag laws have garnered support from several conservative intellectuals, as well, including David French of National Review and Ben Shapiro.

The Montgomery County coroner said the Dayton gunman had cocaine and other drugs in his system at the time of the mass shooting that killed nine people before police fatally shot him.

Dr. Kent Harshbarger said during a Thursday news conference that authorities also found a bag of cocaine on the body of 24-year-old Connor Betts. He also had Xanax and alcohol in his system.

Harshbarger said Betts was shot by police about 24 times with wounds mostly to Betts' upper torso and lower extremities.
HEY MIKEY!
This dude was on Xanex! Was he under the care of a mental health doc at the time? HMMMM?
This is your big solution, to give more patients to these "professionals" who can't keep their patients doped up enough to take away the homicidal tendencies?!!

That's just what we need is more people smacked out of their head! (Somebody ask Mikey if he's in his right mind the next time they see him...)

Problem number one: They are not judged, they are only accused People who have been judged and found guilty or involuntarily committed are already restricted legally from owning guns.

Problem number two, and a potentially big one: If they are really suspected of being a grave risk to public safety, why just take whatever guns they happen to have at that time and just let them roam free so they can either obtain more guns or do whatever they were suspected of doing some other way?
