Happy birthday SMMAssociates!

Post by Brian D. »

A/K/A Stu. He's 73, sounds like an excuse to gift himself a Winchester '73.

However, and I've fallen for this before, apparently this board has him listed with more than one date of birth, today might not be his birthday at all.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

Happy Birthday, Stu! If it's your real birthday. If you're really Stu.

Alan:

Not sure about reincarnation - been pretty crazy so far. But next time I might get lucky, or at least someplace where Concealed Carry is somewhat mandatory, or at least I can find my stash of Stamps.Com blanks....

And, yes, I'm me, I think, although at 0547, I'm starting to wonder :D. I quit drinking in 1963. Probably should have waited a while  .

Thanks to all who sent birthday greetings. I got six chocolate cookies from my daughter and she returned my good camera.

Regards,
Stu.

JM:

No film. Digital camera....

Camera shops have to have some income now that everybody's gone digital.

A cousin of mine is a professional photographer. Or thinks he is ( :D ).... Josh turned up one day to take pictures of as many of his family as he could find. With a $15K digital Nikon that I decided I really needed. The wife, in a fit of sanity, quashed that one, but about ten years later I came into $800 or so, at which point a similar Nikon appeared on the market. HALF PRICE!, never mind the additional zeroes, and off to the camera store. Becka talked me into letting her take it on a trip, and returned the older "film" Nikon I gave her. "You can always ask me to bring it by if you need it." Columbus is about four hours (according to my ancient bladder) away, so that wasn't a lot of help....

Regards,
Stu.
