A case of 9mm ammo, because it was on sale and I might have been "low". Also bought new lock boxes for the cars, so each car has its own and all are keyed alike......

Replaced some "expired" pepper spray, but I don't think it's lost any potency.

Bought a Walther PPQ in 9mm yesterday. This is the M2 version, which uses a conventional magazine release button rather than the twin "paddles" on the M1. I can hit this button with no shift of my grip, a very good thing. The rest of the ergonomics of the PPQ suit me quite well, and the trigger is phenomenal.

So, about two months before this, I'd bought an M1 PPQ and was pretty fond of it, for the reasons stated above. Really wasn't expecting to end up with a pair of them, but it happens. Only downside is that when Walther changed the magazine release, they changed where those cuts are on the magazine bodies. So, the M1 and M2 do NOT use the same mags. You or a gunsmith could modify them by cutting additional slots, but magazine steel is always very hard stuff, and you have to place the cuts in just the right spot. Oh well, I'll just have to use a marker or tape to differentiate the M1 and M2 mags from each other.

Picked up a Ruger 10/22 with a 4x32 scope from FFF for $219. (And 3 boxes 222 rounds each of Federal .22 for $8.99 a box). Figure its time to quit plinking with my 84 year old Winchester Model 67.
